Canadian Tire has been a long time supporter and friend of the Kamloops Food Bank & B100's Basics for Babies. Each year a generous donation is made to support the program. Canadian Tire believes in giving children a chance to excel and we are fortunate to have their support.
Canada Post supports the Kamloops Food Bank through the placement of food donation bins in their retail outlets year round.
The Rotary Food Drives use Interior Vault's/Milton Movers indoor location to store boxes and to accept the food collected twice a year through the Food Drives. We are appreciative of the partnership which started in 2008. Interior Vault is an important part of each food drive as it allows us to accept, sort and weigh the food in a warm, dry space
Canadian Linen has become a great supporter of B100's Basics for Babies through their generous donation of linens, door prizes and the use of their delivery truck to collect donations. As well Canadian Linen has supported through the donation of a truck to the Rotary Food Drives and Food Bank night at the Blazers each December.
Wal-Mart has been a strong supporter of our Thrift Store and our Basics for Babies program. We received a one time grant from the Federal Government in 2010 to purchase 250 "Start Up Kits" for our clients. The Start Up Kits contained household items for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The team at Walmart worked diligently to ensure we received the best deal and were dedicated to ensuring that the orders were completed quickly and thoroughly. We also purchase all of our diapers, formula and baby cereal from Wal-Mart. We receive a generous discount on these items which is used to purchase more items for our clients under the age of 2
Investors Group hosts a twice yearly comedy night in support of the Kamloops Food Bank. The admission is a monetary or food donation.
Petland has been a long time supporter of the Kamloops Food Bank through events that include the Hamster Races and Santa pictures.
Duffy's Pub named the Kamloops Food Bank it's charity of choice in 2009 and use their donation dollars to support the organization. Duffy's Pub has been a generous contributor to B100's Basics for Babies as well as supporting the Food Bank behind the scenes.
Scorpion Technologies became a table sponsor for B100's Basics for Babies sponsor in 2008. Their generosity is greatly appreciated.
The Mount Paul location of Fountain Tire is extremly generous and supportive of the Kamloops Food Bank. Whether it is donating their barbeque for use during one of our events or supporting B100's Basics for Babies or giving substantial deals on services and tires - we are extremely grateful.
Taco Del Mar has been a friend and supporter of the Kamloops Food Bank since 2009. They have generously donated numerous gift certificates to support our fundraising efforts.
Thompson Valley Disaster Kleanup has been a long time supporter and friend of the Kamloops Food Bank.
Valley First continues to be a strong supporter of Food Banks, not just in Kamloops, but throughout the interior of BC. Their "Feed the Valley" Campaign was started in 2010 to increase awareness of Food Banks as well as increase food and funds.
In 2011, Tim Horton's announced that the Kamloops Food Bank was the charity of choice for thier Smile Cookie Campaign. In one week, over $15,000 was generated through the Smile Cookies sales.
The four branches of Interior Savings in Kamloops have been generous and strong supporters of the Kamloops Food Bank. You will see representatives from their organization volunteering at the Rotary Food Drives. Each December, Interior Savings runs an internal promotion called "Spread the Joy" where they ask their members to sign up for online banking and for each person who does, they donate money to the Kamloops Food Bank.
The team at A& T Project Developments has become an incredibly generous supporter of the Kamloops Food Bank. They donate their time in numerous ways; at the Food Bank making hampers; volunteering time at events like Food Bank night at the Kamloops Blazers, Rotary Food Drives and Holiday Train; financially supporting B100's Basics for Babies and attending the event. We are so appreciative of their friendship and support.
Cathy & Adam Earle own and run Peaks Media from Sun Peaks BC. They are wonderful to work with. They have been very supportive with creating our website and helping us maintain it. Their expertise in Social Media has been an asset to us as well.
In 2011, the team from Stantec came on board as a friend and supporter of the Kamloops Food Bank. They have generously donated their services to create building plans as well as donating their time to make hampers and support at events.
