CPKC Holiday Train featuring The Barenaked Ladies

“If I had a million dollars…” I’d buy you food to donate at the annual CPKC Holiday Train!

Come on down to the parking lot behind the Sandman Centre for an evening of holiday cheer, hot chocolate, say hi to Santa and enjoy music by a few talented, Canadian artists.

The CPKC Holiday Train will make its way into town and park behind the arena by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, when the gate will swing open and The Barenaked Ladies will rock the house in a brief set!

This nation-wide event is a major fundraiser for food banks across Canada and we will have a few of our trucks at the concert, ready to collect non-perishable food donations.

Our friends from the United Steel Workers will be on handing, cooking hot dogs and there will be hot chocolate by donation. Stand out when the sun goes down by picking up some of our glow-in-the-dark head ware, also by donation. Santa and his elves will also be on hand, welcoming those at the event.

Prior to The Barenaked Ladies rocking the stage, Kamloops very own The Bunchgrass Boys will take the stage from 3:45 – 4:30 p.m.

Thank you to all our sponsors for helping put on this event and for the Kamloops community for showing up to celebrate food banks this holiday season!
