Banana Bars

Ingredients

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 6 meium bananas (about 2 cups when mashed)
  • 1 cup peanut butter or sub for any nut or seed butter
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside
  • In a large mixing bowl thoroughly combine all ingredients then gently fold in half of the chocolate chips
  • Spread the batter evenly into the greased baking tray. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and firm in the center
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing into bars
