The Kamloops community has made our bi-annual food drives so successful that we’ve officially outgrown the Kamloops Food Bank parking lot!
Join us for the Fall Food Drive on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and find us at The Bay parking lot at Aberdeen Mall as we come together to collect food for local families in need.
Whether you’re donating one can or a full bag of groceries, every contribution helps ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
How to participate
Taking part is easy:
- September 12–24: Volunteers will deliver branded paper donation bags right to your mailbox.
- All you have to do is fill that bag with as many non-perishable food items as you’d like. It’s that easy.
- Saturday, September 26: Place your donation outside your front door by 9:00 a.m. for pickup.
- Rotary volunteers will collect donations across the city that morning.

Most-needed non-perishable items
- Canned vegetables, fruit, soup, and protein
- Dry pasta and rice
- Cereal
- Peanut butter
- Protein and granola bars
- Canned beans and legumes
- Instant noodles
- Baby formula and food
- Pet food

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve received more than 1.6 million pounds of donated food through our food drives over the past 18 years. We’re excited to see what we can accomplish together this September.
